The Winslaphones is a mutant trombone with five bells, two mouthpieces, a melodica, a bassoon reed, and various noisemakers. The instrument is designed to allow for quick changes of timbre, and the blending of diverse sounds. The slide and embouchure control pitch, while five valves route the air column to different sound sources.

The Winslaphones was designed by Richard Johnson Logan-Greene, and built by Dick Hansen in 1998.
